The Principality of Monaco is currently gearing up for the Monaco Yacht Show, the most anticipated yachting event in the calendar which is held at the heart of the Principality in Port Hercules.
The event, which showcases more than 100 of the world’s largest and most stunning super yachts, will this year take place from September 25th to 28th.
And for the first time ever, the Monaco Yacht Show will this year be preceded by a summit for yachting industry leaders, owners and potential buyers who will already been in situ for the yacht exhibition.
The Monaco Yacht Summit will be held in the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco’s premier exhibition space located on the sea front a stone’s throw from the port. The state-of-the-art conference centre is also conveniently located for Monaco’s heliport which welcomes passengers arriving in Monaco by helicopter from Nice Cote d’Azur Airport.
Being held on Tuesday September 24th, it is the latest in a number of initiatives to be made by yacht show organisers and the Principality in a bid to promote itself as the capital of luxury yachting worldwide.
Managing director of the Monaco Yacht Show Gaëlle Tallarida said: “Throughout its 23 editions the Monaco Yacht Show has offered yacht owners, buyers and enthusiasts the very best that the world’s boat builders, brokers and yachting professionals have to offer, in the unique setting of the Principality of Monaco and in a professional but festive atmosphere.
“In 2012 we opened the Upper Deck Lounge – 650m² of lounge areas with bar and restaurant, right inside the Yacht Show area.
“Now we are happy to announce the first Monaco Yacht Summit, the next step in expanding our mission to empower all involved in yachting to meet, talk and share experiences.”
Organisers hope the summit will provide an annual forum for the yachting world where issues of importance can be addressed. It will also provide a convivial space in which the biggest players in yachting can meet, mingle and network.
We expect an unprecedented number of requests for our helicopter services from Nice to Monaco during this period and would ask anyone requiring information on our regular helicopter flights to contact us as soon as possible.
